American Heart Association Classes

Basic Life Support For Healthcare Providers

Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course. If you're requesting a mobile class, please note for safety reasons we DO NOT host classes in houses or living areas. Request this type of class below directly on the calendar. BLS is geared towards prehospital providers, like EMTs, paramedics, fire fighters, and in-facility hospital providers.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course

We know you love PEDs and if you are needing this course or wanting to offer more help to those little ones in need sign up now on the calendar section below.

PALS is geared towards healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children and for personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support Course

ACLS is geared towards healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies or personnel in emergency response. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course. Contact us directly if you would like us to have us teach this course at your facility. Certain requirements will need to be met for us to mobilize this course.

AHA Heartsaver CPR AED Course

Heartsaver CPR AED is geared for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.

American Red Cross Classes

ARC (American Red Cross) Basic First Aid

The Adult First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns cuts scrapes sudden illnesses head neck back injuries heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims about 12 years and older. Successful students will receive a certificate for Adult First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.

ARC (American Red Cross) Wilderness and Remote First Aid Course

Designed for scouts and scout leaders, outdoor enthusiasts and anyone who works or spends time in remote environments, this course teaches advanced skills to be used in emergencies when help from professional first responders may be far away. Based on the Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine Guidelines, this course aligns with OSHA’s Best Practices for Workplace First Aid Training Programs.

Prerequisites: Must be at least 14 years old and hold current adult CPR/AED certification.

ASHI - Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider

The ASHI Basic Life Support (BLS) program is for participants to gain or improve knowledge and skill proficiency in high-quality CPR skills and teamwork for the adult, child, and infant.

ASHI Basic Life Support (BLS) reflects the latest resuscitation science and treatment recommendations published by the American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC and the annual Guidelines Update.

The goal of the ASHI Adult First Aid | CPR AED training program is for participants to gain or improve knowledge and skill proficiency in adult first aid and/or CPR AED for adult, child, and infant.

ASHI First Aid | CPR AED reflects the latest resuscitation science by the American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC and the annual Guidelines Update.

ASHI Pediatric First Aid | CPR AED training program is for participants to gain or improve knowledge and skill proficiency in pediatric first aid and/or CPR AED for adult, child, and infant.

The intended audience is individuals who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers who
desire, or are occupationally required, to be trained and certified in pediatric first aid and/or CPR AED for the child, infant and adult.

ASHI - Advanced First Aid

The ASHI Advanced First Aid course is designed for the person who needs or desires more first aid training than Basic First Aid, but not to the level of Emergency Medical Response. Perfect for corporate emergency response teams, this approximate 12-15 hour Advanced First Aid certification course presents many of the most common illnesses and injuries responders are likely to encounter.

ASHI - Emergency Medical Response (EMR)

The Emergency Medical Response training program provides a detailed and comprehensive approach for managing out-of-hospital medical emergencies prior to the arrival of EMS. Emergency Medical Response provides comparable training to that of Emergency Medical Responder, the base-level training for EMS providers, although the program is not intended for training EMS providers or preparing students to be eligible for EMS provider testing and certification.

Prerequisites

Current certification in healthcare-level CPR training, or Basic Life Support (BLS). BLS training and certification can also be done concurrently as part of the Emergency Medical Response class.

AVERT (Active Violence Emergency Response Training)

Active Violence Emergency Response Training (AVERT) gives you the tools to understand how to recognize warning signs, react quickly in an active shooter situation, and learn how to control bleeding in life-threatening situations. AVERT is active shooter response training with the addition of techniques on how to stop the bleed of victims.

ASHI - WIlderness First Aid

Wilderness environments create special situations not usually encountered in an urban or suburban environment. With the Wilderness First Aid class, first aid providers in a remote outdoor setting will be better prepared to respond with wilderness first aid training when faced with limited resources, longer times to care for someone, and decisions about when and how fast to evacuate an ill or injured person.

This comprehensive 16-hour wilderness first aid course meets or exceeds the Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine Guidelines.

Fire Safety Course in the work place

This class is a comprehensive fire safety class that includes fire safety at work, home and in the community. The class covers several topics including: general fire safety, fire prevention, how to use a fire extinguisher, types of fire extinguishers, evacuation routes, how to rescue others, carbon monoxide detectors, fire alarms, and more!
